About FAIR
The Flanders AI Research Program (FAIR) stands for strategic basic research into artificial intelligence, based on the needs and demands of companies, organizations, the government, and citizens.

Mission
It is our mission to create meaningful impact on people, society, and industry with groundbreaking AI research
Vision
The Flanders AI Research Program stands for strategic basic research into AI. Our aim is the successful adoption of AI in Flanders. In this way, we contribute to a sustainable and prosperous human-centered digital future in Flanders, as well to economic growth and innovation in our region. We also align our activities with the European ambition and strategies for AI and the digital agenda for 2030.
Ambition
We strive for an internationally strong position for Flanders in strategic AI research, within a sustainable ecosystem in Flanders. We work in a quadruple helix ecosystem, with different target groups without whom it would be impossible to realize our mission and vision: research centers, governments, companies, and (non-profit) organizations & citizens.
