FAIR-Full-EN-Color-Short

The Flanders AI Research Program (FAIR) brings together researchers from eleven leading Flemish universities and research organizations in a single coordinated research program. Through a common research roadmap, FAIR addresses key scientific challenges in artificial intelligence while accelerating the adoption of AI in Flanders. The program combines strategic basic AI research, interdisciplinary collaboration and application-driven innovation.

FAIR follows a "One Program" approach. Researchers across the consortium contribute to shared research challenges, collaborate through common work packages and validate new knowledge through use cases and demonstrators in health, industry, society and planet & energy. This approach creates critical mass, facilitates knowledge sharing and enables researchers to address challenges that require expertise from multiple AI disciplines.
